Because of the current situation, our in-person Peer Support Group (PSG) meetings at the Valleyview Residence and Awareness Night meetings at Toronto Botanical Gardens have been suspended for the time being. Prostate Cancer Canada and the Canadian Cancer Society agree to amalgamate

Prostate Cancer Canada (PCC) and the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) have agreed to amalgamate. See the announcement here. (https://www.prostatecancer.ca/In-The-News/Foundation-News-Releases/Prostate-Cancer-Canada-and-the-Canadian-Cancer-Soc) It is important to note that PCCN-Toronto will continue to provide support, as we have for over 26 years (before PCC was formed) to prostate cancer patients, their families, caregivers and friends. That means that Peer Support Meetings, Awareness Nights, hospital/clinic visits, phone/email support, etc. will carry on as before. At this time, it is not clear where our group will fit within CCS.
