Prostate cancer remains a uniquely challenging disease. It is very common and its clinical consequences range from harmless to lethal.
The challenge remains to try to distinguish between these two ends of the spectrum. Doing so will allow us to better tailor treatment, to avoid significant side effects when not necessary, and to intervene early when an individual is at risk.
